I've got blisters on my fingers!  
Since the end of October my sales have been fantastic. This is my annual Christmas rush and it's great. Fortunately I have time to make all the necklaces (though unfortunately I have no real job) I counted and in the month of November I made about 150 necklaces. I'm thinking of using a little bit of the profit to get a new laptop. I found a descent one for a good price but I can't bring myself to buy it since my current one is still working pretty well despite being 7 years old.

If only my sales were always like this I could do this for a living

It might have been a mistake but I briefly was watching a show called obese and pregnant. It definately made me feel better about myself. The women on the show were sigificantly heavier than I am, and in worse health, and they all went through their pregnancies fine. So if they can do it I guess I can too.

worries  


When I think about getting pregnant I do have some concerns. Even though I am overweight my health is actually not on the top of that list. I recently had a physicsal and my blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, every test I had came back in normal levels. Right now high on my list of worres, and this may seem silly and superficial, is how I will look. I'm not worried about looking fat in general, I already look fat. I'm worried about looking VERY fat. My stomach is already large to begin with and I'm worried that I will just look like I've gained a lot of weight, not that I'm pregnant. I see so many women with their cute round bellies and I know I won't look like that. I'll be the woman who when you pass you secretly wonder if she's pregnant or just fat.

My husband and I have decided to start trying to get pregnant. We're both excited but of course both scared, mainly we're worried about the financial aspects of raising a baby in a state where the average cost of daycare is about the same as the rent of our apartment. My personal concerns for getting pregnant are mainly because I am overweight. A few months back I had a full physical and my bloodwork and blood pressure were normal. I know lots of overweight people have babies and they have normal fine pregnancies, but I still really worry about it.
